“Goal Setting” enables you to do the work you want, to live where you want to live, and to be the kind of person you want to be. In fact, there is no limit to the financial rewards you can obtain. All you have to do is to locate a goal for the financial success, make a proper plan, and then work the plan out until you succeed in that target.
Why do so few people set goals?
From the study, there is less than 3 percent of Americans have written goals, and less than 1 percent review and rewrite their goals on a daily basis. Thus, the reasons why people do not place their goals can be concluded as following;
1. They are simply not serious.
It is approved that most successful persons who have achieved thing remarkable are occurred of âgetting thing seriousâ. These persons will totally determine about their goals until it really achieve.
2. They donât understand the importance of goals.
It is found that young men and women who begin setting their goals very early in life customarily initiate from families that consider the importance of goals. If parents didnât have, talk or encourage their children about the importance of the goals, then it is impossible to raise their children up with the idea of goal setting.
3. They are fear of failure.
Main reason of why people donât set goals is probably they are fear of failure. Generally, people are afraid that they might fail. In fact, the fear of failure is possibly the greatest difficulty to the successfull life which can cause some psychological problem.
It is almost impossible to achieve anything without a set goal. Having goals is what separates those that do and those that only wish they had. Goals can be large or incremental leading to the accomplishment of a larger goal.
The âSmart Goalsâ should be both in short term and long term. It is almost impossible to achieve a long term goal without early step of using a set of short term goals. The initial short term goals should be one you can practically ensure that you can succeed. Later short term goals are ones which will build on the success of the earlier goals. Keep adding short term goals until you achieve your long term goal.
